Salome Chavez was awarded the First Annual Coach Mark Gerald Student Leadership Award.  Salome graduated from Mullins High School in May 2015 and will be attending the College of Charleston.  She plans to major in Psychology.  Salome finished first in her class at Mullins and we wish her all the best as she continues working toward her dreams for the future.  To learn more about our scholarship criteria, click here

Parker McInnis and Hembree Poindexter  Recieve Lexington County's First Annual Coach Mark Gerald Student Leader Scholarship

The Lexington Chapter of Make Your Mark was proud to award L.J. Gray, Kayla Sabina, and Ricky Holmes Jr. of White Knoll High School with the Coach Mark Gerald Student Leader Scholarship, as well as, Pelion High School senior, Chandler Stanley.  All four of these young people continue to exhibit the qualities of integrity, drive, leadership, and citizenship throughout their communities and local schools.  We are proud of them and look forward to supporting them throughout their collegiate journeys! #Running

Zariyah was awarded the First Annual Robin Gerald: Young Women Making a Difference Scholarship.  This scholarship is awarded in honor of Mrs. Robin Gerald who is the sister of Coach Mark Gerald.  This scholarship focuses on one of Mrs. Gerald's favorite quotes. “You must be the change you want to see in the world,”  by Mahatma Ghandi.  Based on this quote, the scholarship winner must succinctly answer this single question, "What positive change would you like to see take place in the Mullins community and how can you use your unique talent and ability to bring about that change?"  We congratulate Zariyah for her service and dedication to the Marion County community.  #Running 
 

Parker and Hembree were awarded the First Annual Coach Mark Gerald Student Leadership Award in Lexington County.  Parker and Hembree graduated from White Knoll High School in May 2016.  Parker will be attending Clemson University while Hembree will be attending Converse College.  We are very proud of these two student leaders and their accomplishments!
