Mrs. Gerald is the wife of Coach Mark Gerald.  She serves as president of the Mullins Chapter of Make YOur Mark and continues to serve and reach out to the Marion County Community by helping its young people in countless ways.

John Paul Sellars

Mr. Sellars serves as president of the Lexington Chapter of Make Your Mark and spends his time networking and developing relationships within the counties of Lexington and Marion to ensure the growth of our foundation.

Foundation History

Coach Gerald and John Paul Sellars decide to begin the journey of developing Make Your Mark.


Make Your Mark receives Certificate of Incorporation for a Nonprofit Corporation from the South Carolina Secretary of State's Office .

Make Your Mark opens at Carolina Springs Middle School in Lexington to serve 6th graders.  

Make Your Mark expands to serve the needs of 6th and 7th graders at Carolina Springs Middle School in Lexington.  

Make Your Mark pauses after school leadership program at Red Bank Elementary School and Carolina Springs Middle School to focus on fundraising for future vision of Make Your Mark in the Lexington and Red Bank Areas.  

Coach Gerald passes away from his 6 year battle with colon cancer.

Make Your Mark opens at Red Bank Elementary School in Lexington, South Carolina.
